It's war and I am #winning!

I wasn't going to do it. I didn't plan on completely outing my insurance company and telling the world what douche bags that they are.

But I can't hold it in any longer.

I have received the run around from them for almost 3 weeks. I have received not one clear answer every single time that I call the place.

Seriously Aetna! Seriously? Customer service is about providing a "customer" (that would be me) with "service" (actual help not answers that hold no merit at all).

Just because you think that your answer is right, here's an idea-verify that it is actually the way that my claim will be processed before you send me on my merry f'n way. Yes I'm talking to you customer service representatives. You don't really know what you are talking about, and that has become apparent in my many conversations we have had. You probably aren't qualified to help your 5 year old with their addition homework-yet you can sit in an office and answer phones and tell people what you "think" is the right answer?

I am sure that I am not the only person in this world holding the exact same insurance policy that receives acupuncture treatment. Maybe I am the most vocal-pain in the ass-person with this "condition" and policy but I am sure that I am not the only one. This makes me think that there are probably people out there paying out of their asses for a treatment that is non-invasive (yes I had 3 surgeries last year that you paid for) and actually truly helps. This makes me so incredibly mad! Why do you pay for drugs, surgeries, hospital stays and all kinds of western medicine crap but can't figure out for the life of you how to process my damn acupuncture claim?

Yes, this is truly my problem with you. You can promptly pay thousands of dollars worth of hospital bills (which I am in no way complaining about or trying to send you a refund check or anything so don't hold your breath) but you can't process a claim properly or cover a service that I need? This rant isn't because I can't afford to actually pay for the services myself. Yes I can pay for them and I would if I needed to...BUT I have insurance for a reason! Yes, I am a lucky individual who has insurance through my husband’s awesome job that we don't have to pay an arm and a leg for-but that is not the point.

You have shitty customer service. You give people the run around and can't properly give an answer that I can rely on. Now I sit and wait. Wait for the "Supervisor" that my customer service representative suggested that I talk to, but was on the phone, to call me back. Good thing I am not dying and waiting on you to confirm that you can cover an ambulance ride to the hospital........

This is probably not the end of this damn insurance saga, but I sure as hell hope that they call me back!
